Our haunts are operated almost exclusively with volunteer help.  It's a lot of work in a short period of time, especially the set up and construction, but setting up the scares and acting in the haunts is also a lot of fun. After all, how often do you have an opportunity to "scare the wits" out of your friends and others?  If you would enjoy working with us, please get in touch.  Whether its for a day, a few days, all "13 Days of Terror," or working with set up, we can use your help.  Following is a list of volunteer positions that we are looking to fill.

 

Creative Design.  Do you enjoy planning scenes, scripts and scares?  This year's haunts have already been scripted.  However, if this is your passion, we invite you to get to know us, and consider working with our creative staff in the future.

 

 

 

Set up and Construction.  If you can use power hand tools, enjoy building things, or work with mechanical equipment, we can use your help.

 

 

 

 

Light and Sound/Audio and Visual.  Are you a light or sound technician or junkie?  Do you create videos or sound tracks?  Get in contact with us.

 

 

Make-Up Artists.  Do you enjoy creating ghouls, zombies, ghosts, vampires, and the like?  Do you have experience using an air brush make-up system?  We will be using both air brush and traditional make-up techniques.

 

 

Actors.  Do you have a good scare in you?  Do any of your friends? Actors are the backbone (and perhaps the whole skeleton) of our haunts.  For many, it's also the most fun type of involvement.  Think of it this way, if you don't sign up, your friends will be scaring you!  Typically, we ask that actors be at least 15 years of age, although we sometimes do want and need younger characters.

 

Support Staff.  We are looking for individuals willing to serve behind-the-scenes as Haunt Section Managers, and to provide general haunt support with snacks and beverages, equipment checks, costumes and other "as needed" front-of-house and back-of-house support to help ensure smooth operations.

 

EMT and Security. These are especially important support roles.  Are you involved with EMT or security?  We would appreciate your help.
